Los animales híbridos son la mezcla entre dos especies
distintas y dan como resultado un animal con características de ambas especies.
La hibridación de animales se da en cautiverio y rara vez en la naturaleza,
ahora veremos 7 de estos animales (Benito, 2021; Coello, 2019).
Hybrid animals are the mix between two different species and result in an animal with characteristics of both species. Hybridization of animals occurs in captivity and rarely in nature, now we will see 7 of these animals (Benito, 2021; Coello, 2019).
1) Ligre + Tigón (Tigrón o Tigrelón): El ligre es el
resultado de un león macho y de una tigresa, mientras que el Tigón es el resultado
del cruce entre un tigre macho y una leona. En la actualidad estos son los
felinos más grandes del mundo.

2) Mula + Burdégano: La mula debe ser el animal híbrido más
conocido, esta se da por el cruce entre una yegua y un burro, mientras que el
burdégano, se da por la cruza de un caballo y una burra. Se utilizan para
trabajo de carga y transporte.

3) Zubrón: El zubrón es el resultado del cruce entre una vaca
y un bisonte europeo. Este tipo de ganado es muy resistente a las enfermedades.
Las hembras pesan entre 800 y 810 kilogramos, mientras que los machos pueden
llegar a los 1200 kilogramos (Animaleshibridos.com, n.d.).

4) Cerdolí: El cerdolí es el cruce entre un cerdo vietnamita
y un jabalí, estos se dan en la naturaleza por los cerdos mascota abandonados
por sus dueños (Justo, 2019).

5) Humanzee: El humanzee es un híbrido hipotético, el más
conocido fue Oliver, aunque en realidad se trataba de un chimpancé con rasgos
poco comunes. Estos híbridos también son conocidos por los experimentos
fallidos del biólogo Ilya Ivanovich Ivanov, quien buscaba crear un humanzee en
la década de 1920 (Millán, 2021). Por otro lado, existe una leyenda sobre una
criatura llamada Maimo, quién era hijo de la esposa del Conde Gulielmus y su
chimpancé mascota (Historika, 2014).

7) Grolar: El grolar es el híbrido ente un oso grizzly y un oso
polar, este se da en la naturaleza debido a los deshielos del ártico (Fischer,
2021).
