¿Por qué la Luna no se cae?
Why doesn't the moon fall?
  • Have you ever wondered why the Moon does not fall?

In reality, the moon does fall towards the earth, it falls due to the force of gravity, but it falls at such a great speed that it continues to rotate and does not collide with the earth. Due to this phenomenon, the moon moves away from the earth approximately 4 centimeters every year (ESA, n.d.; Vólquez, 2019).
