La luz blanca del sol llega a la atmósfera y se separa
debido a los gases y partículas. Esta se separa en colores según su longitud de
onda al igual que en un prisma. El cielo lo vemos azul, porque su longitud de
onda es más corta y viaja más rápido que el resto de los colores. La luz
también se descompone en colores que no podemos ver, como el infrarrojo y el
ultravioleta (Sánchez, 2018; Cellone, n.d.).
White light from the sun reaches the atmosphere and is
separated by gases and particles. This is separated into colors according to
their wavelength just like in a prism. We see the sky as blue, because its
wavelength is shorter and it travels faster than the rest of the colors. Light
also breaks down into colors that we cannot see, such as infrared and
ultraviolet (Sánchez, 2018; Cellone, n.d.).
