There are three types of miraculous cure, which are dangerous in different degrees for people, since they are directly poisons that, instead of helping to cure a disease, make it more serious and even interfere with real treatments, these are, MMS, blue scorpion venom and homeopathy.

MMS, also known as Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2), Sodium Hypochlorite (NaClO), bleach or simply under the trade name of chlorine, is a compound used as a cleaning product, bleach or disinfectant (Barrientos Medina et al., 2015 ), but there are ill-intentioned people who sell it as a miracle cure for various diseases, including influenza, hepatitis, various types of cancer, autism and even HIV/AIDS. People who sell this product ensure that it serves as an activator for citric acid, without any basis, to this we must also add the high sales costs, for example, for 2015, the 60cc bottle was offered at a price of US$40 (ABC, 2019; ADNRadio.cl, 2017; Ventas, 2015). The thymus appears in 2006 with the book entitled The Miracle Mineral Solution of the 21st Century written by James Humble. The FDA has warned that consuming these types of products is dangerous and can cause damage such as vomiting, nausea, dehydration, diarrhea and even death (FDA, 2019; Loh & Shafi, 2014). Also, being wrongly called complementary or alternative medicine, people tend to take these components together with normal medication, which can even interfere with the actual treatment and make the damage much more serious (La Vanguardia, 2019).

The blue scorpion venom, is one of the miraculous cures that sell, on the one side, like several of these products, against diseases as different as any type of cancer, parkinson or AIDS and by other side as an analgesic for severe pain (Cubedo, 2004; El Nuevo Día, 2017). Being a poison, it is possible that it has certain effects on animal cells, but, apart from testimonies that could even be false, there is no scientific publication that demonstrates that this is a cure for any type of cancer (GEPAC, 2016) and the only thing that has been proven, is that the venom that they sell commercially under the name of Escozul or Vidatox, which is actually diluted and is not authorized to be sold in some countries, has turned out to be harmless and does not present any type of active principle (Diario Judicial, 2010).

Homeopathy is a therapeutic method without real scientific evidence, this was created by Samuel Hanneman in 1796 and its basis is that the similar cures the similar, that is, to cure a person of any symptom, a substance must be administered that cause the same symptom, but diluted, with the aim of creating a minimum dose and that the body assimilates the disease (RPP, 2017). Although, at first it can be understood that, being a very dilute dose, homeopathy is harmless and only generates a placebo effect (Ernst, 2008; Okdiario, 2017), in reality, it can cause some problems, on the one hand, There are people who replace the appropriate medication with this type of elements and on the other hand, it has even caused liver failure in some patients, since some of these preparations have a high alcohol content (Philips et al., 2019; Silva, 2019).
