There are some museums dedicated to mathematics, such as the Museum of mathematics of Aragon, founded in 1173 in the female Cistercian Monastery of Santa María in Casbas de Huesca (Museo de Matemáticas Monasterio de Casbas, n.d.), this museum consists of 200 [m²], distributed in three exhibition halls, a workshop room and a temporary exhibition hall (Verkami, 2019). In Spain, you can also find the Mathematics Museum of Catalonia (Ajuntament de Cornellà, n.d.; MMACA. n.d.), this consists of more than 300 [m²] and can host activities and exhibitions that address this science in a practical way, to This is joined by the Workshop-Museum Classroom of Mathematics π-ensa, this is in Madrid, opened in October 2014 and offers different exhibitions that are renewed every nine or ten months (UPM, 2014). Another museum dedicated to this science is the MoMath or National Museum of Mathematics, this is located in New York, United States and is an interactive museum, this means that it seeks the connection between mathematics and everyday topics such as music and sports (nycgo.com, n.d.; MoMath, n.d.). In Latin America, there is the Mathematics Museum in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, inaugurated by Professor Jin Akiyama, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT), the Japanese Embassy in the Dominican Republic and the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (INDOTEL) on november 29, 2017 (El Nuevo Diario, 2017), it is expected that if this museum is well used, collaboration with other fields such as physics and chemistry can be expanded (Makiuchi, 2017).
