- What are xenotransplantation?
Xenotransplantation is nothing more than performing transplants between different species (Blogorama, 2018), such as animals to humans (Pujol Gibelli, 1999), for this there are organ modification techniques (Campillo, 2015) to reduce the chances of rejection or possible cross-species interspecies, as it is to imagine, this type of techniques brings many ethical implications (Leyton, 2006), but even so, it can potentially serve to greatly shorten the waiting times of donors in this type of procedure.
