• A review of the history of algebra

Algebra has accompanied humanity since its inception, and in civilizations as ancient as the Babylonian or Egyptian (Ciencia Matemática, 2018) was an object of study, among other civilizations, has also been studied by the ancient Greek philosophers as part of their natural philosophy. Known in this era by the advances made by the Arabs, including Musa al-Khwarizmi (Escuelapedia, 2019) in the eleventh century with his fundamental theory of equations and in more recent times, Descartes (Profesor en Línea, 2015) in the eighth century with his book on Geometry or Gibbs in the century XIX with the vector algebra.
