What is Kapustin Yar?

• About the Soviet base Kapustin Yar, known for his experiments and for the UFO phenomenon

Kapustin Yar (Learning History, 2017) is known for his experiments, such as the various nuclear tests that took place there and his A-4 missiles, the Soviet version of the German V-2 (Zak, n.d.). These facilities, where former NAZI regime scientists worked, are also known for unusual events related to the UFO phenomenon, among which are registered sightings, some of the stories tell that in their possession they have ships of extraterrestrial origin (Martinez, 2015) and preserved bodies of aliens. Being a military base, it is possible that the alleged extraterrestrial ships, are actually experimental airplanes or hot air balloons unknown at that time by the civilian population.
