Shure SM 57 vs JTS PDM 57
The video shows the comparison between the Shure SM57 microphones and the JTS PDM57, both in a drum kit, an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar. Shure is an American brand, while JTS is a Taiwanese brand. The main characteristics of these microphones, are that they have similar technical characteristics, for example, both are cardioid polar patterns, this means that they are directional, also designed to work in a medium to high frequency range (Shure, n.d.; JTS ; n.d.), this means that it has very good performance (Campeglia, 2014) and works without problems to record instruments such as the guitar and the human voice.
