Researchers from King's College, Brunel University and London South Bank University, created a form through filters and noise cancellation that manages to make the noise disappear from the high-speed turbine or handpiece, this device contains a microphone with a chip that analyzes the acoustic wave emitted by this, is connected to an MP3 player or a mobile phone so that it can reproduce the noise with reverse phase and filters, the objective of this is to be able to listen without problems to the instructions given by the dentist (Hughes, 2011; Sturm, 2011).
