La última adición a la línea de ecógrafos Voluson de GE Healthcare, el sistema Voluson E10, cuenta con las aplicaciones HDlive Silhouette y HDlive Flow, las cuales utilizan información del ultrasonido en nuevas formas para calcular la profundidad, la forma y el detalle, este escáner permite visualización 3D en tiempo real, ya que incluye filtros para estabilización de la imagen y características de color, esta tecnología también puede ser usada para obtener imágenes de los vasos sanguíneos, el cerebro, el corazón y otros órganos del bebé, las cuales muestran la profundidad y la estructura de una manera que permite observar pequeños detalles de interés (GE Healthcare, s.f.; MedImaging, 2014).
