Sylvia Zhu (Franco, 2014; Lewis, 2014; McEnery, 2012), a graduate student in physics at the University of Maryland, has assigned notes to the explosions generated by gamma rays. Gamma rays are a type of electromagnetic radiation that have utility in the treatment of cancer, because they can easily penetrate the skin and other tissues (Hernández, 2011).
