Through the JACK program, it is possible to connect the professional DAW Ardor with the rendering and video editing program Blender (Bouza, 2010).
JACK (JACK, n.d.) is a low latency protocol, which works as a server (daemon on Unix systems, service on Windows systems) between compatible applications, it is available for GNU / Linux, BSD, Solaris, iOS Windows and Mac OS X.
Ardor is a DAW available for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, Windows and BSD, this supports non-destructive multitrack, as editor allows to work with audio and MIDI, unlimited number of tracks (the limit is set by the characteristics of the computer), this program is designed to record, mix, edit and master any kind of audio, be it music or post production of a movie, to work in post production of audio for image, the XJADEO (XJADEO, n.d.) program is used.
Blender (Blender, n.d.) is a rendering program, creation of 3D models and it is also a multitrack video editor (through its integrated tool Blender Video Editor), they are available for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU / Linux and BSD.
To achieve this, you have to configure both programs through the JACK sound server, that the signal routing is from Blender to Ardor.
