El Circulo lingüístico de Praga y de Moscú (Gallardo Paúls, 2010; Academic, s.f.; Domínguez Caparrós, 2002), son dos de los grandes referentes de la lingüística moderna, en este grupo se encontraban grandes lingüístas como Roman Jakobson y Nikolái Trubetskói entre otros, todos bajo la influencia de Ferdinand de Saussure y a favor de estudiar el lenguaje desde un punto de vista funcionalista. Primero existió el Circulo Lingüístico de Moscú, pero con la llegada de Jakobson a Praga en 1920 y con la publicación de una teoría sobre el verso checo, fue que se formó en 1926 y se consolidó en 1930 el Circulo Lingüístico de Praga, se disuelve en 1939 por la invasión de Alemania a Checoslovaquia en el marco de la segunda guerra mundial.


The Linguistic Circle of Prague and Moscow, (Gallardo Paúls, 2010; Academic, n.d.; Domínguez Caparrós, 2002) are two of the great references of modern linguistics, in this group were great linguists such as Roman Jakobson and Nikolai Trubetskói among others, all under the influence of Ferdinand de Saussure and in favor of studying the language from a functionalist point of view. First there was the Moscow Linguistic Circle, but with Jakobson's arrival in Prague in 1920 and with the publication of a theory on the Czech verse, it was formed in 1926 and the Prague Linguistic Circle was consolidated in 1930, dissolved in 1939 for the invasion of Germany to Czechoslovakia in the framework of the Second World War.
