En internet se pueden encontrar algunos efectos de sonido gratis, que están bajo licencia Creative Commons y otros que tienen derechos de autor expirados, esto significa, que se pueden usar libremente, siempre y cuando se respete el tipo de licencia, ya que algunos piden atribución y otros son para uso estrictamente no comercial. Varios de estos efectos de sonido gratuitos se pueden encontrar en la página the free sound project (Freesound, 2014), sitio que incluye un buscador, cabe destacar que la mayoría son royalty free, es decir, aparte de que son de libre descarga, no hay que pagar por su uso.

Actualización: Premium Beat (2017) nos trae un pack de 120 efectos de sonido, que se pueden utilizar tanto en proyectos personales como profesionales y Ghosthack (2020) tiene disponible en su sitio web algunos efectos de sonido gratis, también loops y material de pago. Por otro lado Facebook (2020) y YouTube (2020) también tienen efectos de sonido y música disponible para los creadores de contenido.

On the internet you can find some free sound effects, that are under Creative Commons license and others that have expired copyright, this means, that they can be used freely, as long as the license type is respected, some ask for attribution, others are for strictly use not commercial. Some of this free sound effects are in the website of the free sound project (Freesound, 2014), site that includes a search engine, it should be noted that most are royalty free, that is, apart from being free download, there is no need to pay for their use.

Update: Premium Beat (2017) brings us a pack of 120 sound effects, which can be used in both personal and professional projects and Ghosthack (2020) has some free sound effects available on its website, also loops and payment material. On the other hand, Facebook (2020) and YouTube (2020) also have sound and music effects available for content creators.
